Welcome to the Bonsai4me September 2024 Newsletter
Preparations for the BonsaiLive Show in Telford continue with the announcement of guests on the Bonsai4me Trade Stand and the acceptance of two of my bonsai for display, and one belonging to apprentice Sean Stolp.
The show itself is on all of this weekend October 5/6th.

We will be joined by the French artist behind ‘Cosmic Bonsai’ Laurent Darrieux who will be signing his books over the weekend on the Bonsai4me stand alongside the last available copies of my book Bonsai Inspirations 2.
Dr Karen O’Hanlon of ProBio Carbon will be flying in to join us on the stand so if you have any questions with regards Danu, Maru, BioChar or Calcium, or have any need for an organic solution to your bonsai collection, she’ll be there all day Saturday to speak to.

| We will also be at the Heathrow bonsai show the following weekend (Sunday 13th) There will be 40 bonsai clubs in attendance and we will be trading there for the day and again, joined by Dr Karen O’Hanlon who will be flying in for the day. |

Calcium calcium calcium!!
You may well have seen that I launched an explainer video about the use of Calcium to increase growth in your bonsai, particularly if you are living in a soft water area, use rainwater, RO water or apply a lot of seaweed (magnesium).

ProBio Carbon have been wonderful in supplying us with a new calcium product that has had microbes added to enable better uptake of the calcium in a state that is appropriate for trees.
The Calmag is sprinkled in the surface of the soil once/twice a year and gently releases calcium into the soil.

The Bonsai4me.com workshops continued on September 14th with a very busy but very fun day here in Aylesbury.
As ever we had a really nice crowd of enthusiasts over from all over the uk and by the end of the day, it was lovely to see everyone working and relaxing with each other. This what its all about!
I should also thank assistance from Syed Abbas and Toby Wilson, if it wasn’t for the Bonsai4me team, we wouldn't get through so much work everytime.
